This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. The most common schedule is 7 am–6 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Philadelphia is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Philadelphia is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Pennsylvania's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Would you like some egg with your black pepper? How about Christmas decorations in July? How would you like to pay an extra 50 cents for milk in your coffee? If so, then this is the place for you! Seriously, awful "food", way overpriced, and not worth it. Starbucks would've been better.

I usually don’t write reviews, but I wanted to due to having celiac disease and finding such a great place to eat! The personnel were so helpful and courteous when fixing items for me that were gluten free. The food was delicious! I ate here daily once we discovered this place. It is convenient to the historic sites in Philadelphia. I highly recommend!

Do not patronize this place!!! The owner is rude and delusional. I walked into this place and ordered food and a drink on a Friday! Keep in mind the food is incredibly overpriced for some toasted sandwiches. I see a sign on the counter that says “No Laptop Use on Weekends” I thought that was weird and didn’t understand why it was even a rule but since it was Friday, I didn’t think anything of it. I get my drink and the owner yells at me from across the shop that i can’t use my laptop in the coffee shop and that in his coffee shop weekends mean Friday Saturday and Sunday. I thought that was ridiculous so i asked to cancel the rest of my order and leave. He starts rambling about how it doesn’t have to make sense to anyone else but him. He doesn’t want people on their laptops in the store. “Get your food eat then leave” is what he said. I conveyed to him that even if he was losing money to people lingering in the store that the laptop policy made no sense and did not correlate to the time spent in the shop? (I can use my phone in there for hours or be on my laptop for 15 minutes) and I was only going to be there for a short period of time. But once again it’s his shop and like he said

Small cute place on the corner of an intersection with a lot of seating. I’ve been twice and the food was fresh each time. Love their hash browns as well. If you go in you can order things that you can’t when ordering online so I suggest walking in.

We had a great experience and the food was prepared as ordered. I had the bacon, egg and cheese croissant, my friend and her daughter had morning burrito. I was surprised at serving size and very pleased. The only thing I didn’t like is that it was maybe turkey bacon?? Therefore it wasn’t as tasty but it was very good!!! The store is very clean and the staff was very friendly. My friend also ordered the Matcha but hot and she said it was very good and not too sweet. I highly recommend if want to have breakfast, coffee and lunch!!!
